Right from the word go, we could see this was going to be a great trip. The atmosphere between all you guys kind of clicked straight away and from there on we knew this trip was going to be a good one. As you all now know, we had the lovely Eve on board, as part of our “test” to see how we could incorporate the Andaman Turtle Watch Project.
Trip 33 has just returned. We started off with a wicked display of Mother Nature’s power in Thap Lamu, fork lightning and heavy rain slightly delaying departure, but stunning to watch and listen to. As most people went off to bed we made our departure out to the Similans.
Trip 34 has just returned, our final trip of the 2024 – 2025 Similan diving season.
A great trip all round and albeit with the conditions pending to disrupt our rhythm we ploughed on and made it to all our favourite dive sites for one last time this season.

Blue Dolphin Kicks Off the Season in Style! ????
What a fantastic start to the season aboard the MV Blue Dolphin! A huge thank you to all our amazing guests who joined us for our first Similan & Surin liveaboard trip of the season — we loved being back on the boat, an unforgettable few days out on the Andaman Sea.
There’s something truly magical about opening your eyes in the Similans. We woke to gentle seas and a light rain shower passing through Hideaway Bay – but spirits were anything but dampened! Instead, it gave us a peaceful start and plenty of anticipation to get underwater.
Trip 3 of the season is back in the books—and despite some spicy forecasts, we juked the worst of the weather and still pulled off a winner, with big smiles and even bigger visibility.
Trip 5 is back on dry land—and what a banger. After a few weeks of challenging surface conditions, we were greeted by lovely flat water, tip-top dive conditions, and a boat full of legends. Instant classic.
Our mid-November adventure aboard MV Blue Dolphin delivered a true taste of Andaman Sea diving—long rolling swells, a bit of challenging surface chop, but still plenty of incredible moments below the waves.
