Trip 020 Similan Islands

Everything came together perfectly for our twentieth Similan liveaboard trip of the current season. Weather was great, the Andaman Sea was nice and calm, no crazy currents despite it being full moon, lots of cool critters, plenty of fish action and a large giant oceanic manta ray on our last dive. Perfection !

Trip 019 Similan Islands

Trip 19 has returned to land and what a fantastic time we had with an awesome bunch of humans on board and we made friends with countless fish and sea creatures.

After an unusually smooth departure day we set off from Thap Lamu with calm seas and excellent visibility in store.

Trip 018 Similan Islands

Trip 18 is back and it was a cracker. Good folk on the boat, great diving, delicious food and my first trip in a while with favourable weather conditions. All in all a wonderful time out in the Andaman Sea.

Day One and dive one was a proper new moon drift dive …

Trip 017 Similan Islands

First trip back on the boat for me in a little while and I can honestly say I couldn’t have wished for a nicer group of people to share it with.

From night one we could see the group forming into a fun loving, really good crowd.

Trip 016 Similan Islands

Trip 16 has returned to land and what a wonderful trip we had with some great company on board and some epic diving to boot.

After a delayed departure and an unfortunate turn of events for one customer losing their bags on their flight, we headed off to the Similan Islands with bellies full of food and an air of anticipation on the boat 🙂

Trip 015 Similan Islands

Trip 015 done and what an eventful Similan liveaboard trip it turned out to be. It was certainly a trip of extremes. Some epic dives, some excellent times onboard the good ship Blue Dolphin along with some strong currents and big waves. Half way into January and almost at the half way point of our season we would be expecting the weather to be calm out in the Andaman Sea. Not so as it turned out!

Trip 014 Similan Islands

Bat fish at Koh Bon Pinnacle

Trip 14 has returned to land and what a resounding success! Multiple special sightings throughout the trip, some lovely company and mostly favourable conditions made this a trip to remember.

Trip 013 Similan Islands

こんにちは!行ってきました、ブルードルフィン号クルーズの第13回トリップ。今回は年越しクルーズです!

Trip 012 Similan Islands

We decided on a slight change to our normal Similan route and headed south to Boulder City for dive two. Beautiful conditions and a gentle current on the outer rocks made for a great dive, with some groups spotting a few white tips off deep.
In the afternoon we headed north to Island Nine with Three Trees.

Trip 011 Similan Islands

West of Eden continued in good form with hunting trevallies over the boulders providing a nice start to our day. We noticed the water was a bit greener and a few degrees cooler than previous weeks, not to everyone’s liking but its certainly isn’t bad for the reefs and the underwater world.
