Similan Liveaboard Trip BB2510

Another fantastic cruise in the books!

What a lovely four days at sea with an amazing group of guests — it was genuinely a pleasure having you all on board. Conditions were pretty nice overall, with a mix of sunny skies, good visibility, and just enough current here and there to keep the diving interesting.

Day 1 — West of Eden & Tuna Wreck

We kicked things off with perfect weather and flat seas, the sort of start that makes you grin from the first gentle roll in.

At West of Eden we were treated to a turtle sighting — always a highlight. We’re currently processing the images and will get back to you soon with an ID.

Tuna Wreck, a favourite that never disappoints with super viz and a gentle drift along the reef, the trip had started off with 2 cracking dives.

The afternoon we got swept along at Three Trees, and finished up at North Point, a bargain 2 for 1 on dives sites. After our beach visit a few teams night dived Turtle Rock and enjoyed some critter hunting.

Day 2 — Christmas Point & Koh Tachai

Beautiful topography, vibrant coral, and marine life everywhere you looked — Day 2 delivered in style.

Team Japan explored North Point, where they also managed to capture a turtle ID shot. We’re processing those images now and will let you know the results soon.

Koh Tachai offered its usual mix of energy and abundance, making it a standout of the trip.

Day 3 — Richelieu Rock & Back to Tachai

Richelieu Rock was buzzing in the morning — cobias cruising through, trevally and emperors hunting in packs, and that unmistakable electric atmosphere the site is famous for.

As the waves and wind picked up, we made the call to head back to Koh Tachai, which rewarded us with a gorgeous sunset dive. The main dome was alive with hunting action, supported by a gentle current that kept everyone alert and smiling.

Day 4 — Mating Octopus Magic

The final day delivered something truly special: two pairs of mating octopus! A rare and mesmerising encounter — easily the highlight of the morning for many of us.

Congratulations & Thank-You

Huge congratulations to Andrew on achieving his SSI Advanced Open Water Diver certification!

And a big thank you to Lee from Koh Tao Pro Video and Ark Diving for sharing some fantastic videos and photos — these will be linked to the blog shortly.

From all of us on board, thank you for joining this cruise. We hope to see you all again soon!
