Pick of the dives for me, dive 2 at Richelieu Rock. The movement of the glass fish, the hunting action, multiple rays and 2 of the biggest giant…

Time aboard our SImilan liveaboard and underwater was straight out of the top draw. Similan and Surin treated us to some great diving. Richelieu Rock in particular even with less visibility than the Similan’s showed us over a couple of dives just how diverse and magical the underwater world can be.

Visibility was much clearer around the nine Similan Islands and water temperatures were noticeably warmer too. Christmas Point was amazing on day two of our Similan liveaboard. One of those rare occasions when there was no current and with visibility at 40+ metres we were able to cover and see the entire huge site.

The Similan’s are still treating us to some great visibility and plenty of life. Day One offered a bit of current to liven things up a bit, but you guys all rocked it, and the mood on the boat seemed pretty good all round. Shark sightings on several of the dives including a large leopard shark at Three Trees,  gave us a bit of hope heading north, for some cracking diving to come.

Trip 16 is complete and we hope you guys all had a great Similan liveaboard. Full moon this trip meant a slight change in conditions compared to recent weeks. Some up wellings and slightly reduced vis over the park, however plenty of food in the water kept the dive sites active with schools of fish feeding. The Similans boosting slightly viz than Richelieu it seemed that Koh Tachai was the pick of the dives this trip.

今回は石垣島からSea Trip DIving Service様がブルードルフィン号をチャーターしに来て下さいました〜！

Trip 19 has returned and what a great few days of diving with a lovely crowd of guests from all over the world joining us in the Similan and Surin Marine parks.

Conditions proved to be much better than previous weeks with visibility returning to the levels we expect of diving the Andaman sea.

A great trip both above and below the water. We had some awesome dives and some real good laughs along the way too. A few glasses of wine and the occasional scotch made for somewhat of a slightly more decadent trip than usual but enjoyed greatly by everyone. Conditions in the water cleared from recent weeks, with some great viz around the Similans. As we pushed north, although the viz slightly reduced, Koh Bon and Tachai treated us to some very fishy dives.

What a great Similan live aboard trip! Lots of familiar faces returned to make trip 20 an epic one. Some new faces too who will now hopefully become familiar Big Blue people over the coming years.

As many guests had dived our usual Similan dive sites a lot, we were able to rock up our schedule a little and visit some less frequently dived spots on the first day. These included Shark Fin Reef and Chinese Wall.

The Similan Islands started our trip with some great dives, West of Eden had super clear water and plenty of hunting action for dive one. As the day continued the water stayed clear with some current starting to show, the marine life was hanging on the edges of the reefs and out in the blue. Nice to drift along amongst the fish.
