What an awesome bunch on board the Blue Dolphin for trip 2 of the season!
After the “thumb incident” on day 1 and the ankle incident our divemasters appeared to be dropping like flies but the rest of the trip went injury free and the diving was thoroughly enjoyable.
The unscheduled visit to the Tuna Wreck brought us to an Octopus, and there were several shark sightings at Three Trees.
Some fierce green monsters hit us at Christmas Point and Koh Bon which seems to be a theme for the season so far, bringing in some intense fish action.
Tachai did not fail to deliver with lots of hunting fish and a Jenkins Whipray to boot.
Richelieu presented us with its usual fish soup scenes with several occasions of being completely surrounded by an array of hunting fish species.
Thanks to the awesome divers who joined us on board. Brianna and myself had to rally together after we lost our trip leader on day 1 but all went smoothly in spite of the circumstances, and the diving, I’m sure you will agree, was epic! Alex
