A little bit about me
Firstly I must apologise for my less than perfect English..I am a French Man!
Since I was a child, I have always been attracted to the underwater world. First by watching Cousteau on TV, then be practising snorkelling and free diving on my summer holiday in the West of France. I did my first Discover Scuba Dive when I was 13 years old in Brittany and my Level 1 CMAS when 14 in Corsica. I then stated to train in a dive club close to my house and stayed there 5 years I found it was a good way to make myself look cool to the other kids.
At the time I was living close to Paris so the sea was more than 300 km away, so I was training in swimming pools, rivers, lakes (good for dive skills and spotting bikini fish)and sometimes in the sea over the weekend. I stayed with the club until I passed my CMAS level 2 and 3 and the returned my focus to my school studies. I did still sneak away to scuba dive in different countries when ever I could! Seven years ago I decided to live my dream (I had a mid-life crisis..a little bit early!), I left everything in France and went to Koh Tao to do my Divemaster and a few months later my Instructor.
After working 4 years in Kho Tao I moved to the West cost of Thailand to teach between the Similan Islands and Phuket. I love to make people discover the underwater world, she is much like a beautiful woman and must be treated with care and respect.
I love all aspects of my job either teaching new dive techniques to students or to show the local aquatic life to experience diver.
There are so many creatures in these waters, big ones or small ones, that you never get bored of diving.
Diving in the Similan Islands for me is the best place in the world. I hope I can share her beauty with all of you!
