A little bit about me
My name is Anna, and I’m from a very very small village in Catalonia. My village was so small that after a few years living back and forth between my village and the city of Barcelona, decided I wanted to see more…. Everything started with a month holiday, then a three month one and at last, a year around the world, in which I started diving and loving the sea and its creatures.
On that loooong trip, I got hooked up by a small island (koh tao) where I did my rescue diver, and went back after sorting out everything back home. I also did my divemaster an instructor course there, but somehow I needed some more adventure. Back in 2011 I moved to khao lak to have a taste of the best diving in Thailand, and I loved it, so right now, i’m working the season in khao lak, and experiencing new places the rest of the year.
I’ve been working so far in Komodo (Indonesia), Maui (Hawaii) and Costa Brava ( Barcelona)’ but I’m always excited to go back to khao lak for another amazing season.
I love the ocean and all its creatures, but my favourite part is teaching. I love when people that has never been down there, and is pretty scared about it, comes back with a smile after their first dive. And I think this is the most important part of diving, to teach people to be safe and respectfull with the ocean and sea creatures, this is the only way to save the oceans.
