Try diving for a day, no experience necessary!

The best way to find out if you like diving or not is to go and do it! During this one day trip to the Similan Islands you can try Scuba Diving for real amongst the stunning fish and corals of the Similan Islands. After a short safety briefing on the boat, we teach you four simple skills so you can feel comfortable with the equipment, then you can go for a real dive! The Instructor will be right by your side the whole time, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. If you like it (and we are sure you will!), there is time for a second dive in the afternoon.

This is a 3 to 4 day course after which you will be a certified diver, able to dive to 18 meters with another certified diver anywhere in the world. The course is in 3 parts: Classroom based theory; ‘confined water’ session in a pool where you learn how to use the equipment and safety skills; then four ‘open water’ dives over two days where you practice what you have learned during real dives the reefs around the Similan Islands.
 

This easy-going two day course gives you the chance to improve your basic dive skills and combine other interests with diving. You will make 5 dives over 2 days which include Deep (30m) and Navigation dives. You and your instructor together choose the remaining three dives.
 

This course will expand your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level and is, therefore, a pre-requisite for all PADI and SSI leadership training. During the course you will learn to look beyond yourself to consider the safety and well-being of other divers, preparing you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage emergencies. It is a demanding but fun course lasting 3 days. You must hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate (such as Emergency First Response) to be able to complete this course. Available to adults and children of 12 years or over.

Do you want to have a career in diving? Then the Dive Master course is your first step in becoming a professional diver.

This course is designed as a 5 to 6 weeks internship program. During this time, you will have a chance to work alongside our qualified team of Dive Masters and Instructors. You will learn from them how to organize dive trips, supervise divers in the water and even assist the Instructors when teaching their diving courses! Our experienced staff will help you develop your leadership abilities while working on your diving techniques and knowledge.

Your training includes 38 dives in the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock, as well as some local shipwreck dives. You will get to enjoy 2 full trips on the MV Pawara, our luxurious liveaboard boat. At 35m in length, it is one of the biggest and most spacious boats in the Similans! You will also experience a couple of trips on local dive sites from a traditional Thai longtail boat, as well as the thrill of going to the Similans on our speedboat, one of the fastest boat around.

The time you will spend on land in Khao Lak will be busy practising diving skills in the swimming pool, attending lectures and learning how to run a shop and organise the trips. By the time you finish your training, you will have a complete overview of how to work in a dive shop!

We only take 3 Dive Master Trainees at a time, to ensure you the most personalized service. We can tailor the course to fit your schedule and needs and we can help you to get set up with accommodation and transportation when you arrive.
